SCOPE CONTROL
Some remodeling work touches systems that require licensed professionals, permits, inspections or professional design. Betts Designs & Renovations keeps those responsibilities explicit rather than blurring them into the finish-work scope.
Where required, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural, engineering and other regulated work is performed by appropriately licensed professionals. We coordinate sequencing and access as the written project scope allows, while each responsible trade remains accountable for its own licensed work, permits and inspections.
HOW TO PLAN THE SCOPE
For a kitchen, the goal might be better storage and traffic flow. For a bathroom, it may be a safer shower and easier maintenance. For a whole-home update, consistent flooring, paint, doors and trim may matter more than changing every room at once.
A good scope separates must-haves from options, identifies owner-provided materials, calls out licensed-trade work, and explains what is excluded. That makes estimates easier to compare and reduces surprises after demolition.
